Tidying up before the guests arrive
October 27th, 2008You can have the coolest online comic in the world, and if the presentation sucks, people aren’t going to read it.
While I’m well aware of that, I’ve just been letting First Incision sit here with a really, really clunky interface since we debuted the issue in April. And today I’ve finally fixed it. (Really, if I’d known it’d be so easy to get Lightbox to do the things I want it to, I would’ve built it in when we launched the site!) Now instead of having to hunt for the navigation buttons and scroll through numerous blog posts to read First Incision, all you have to do is click a thumbnail, and a sleek little viewer window will pop up holding the whole comic. How nice is that? And it doesn’t even interfere with listening to our soundtrack plug-in!
In other news, Lukas and I are hard at work on the next Witch Doctor story — and the one after that too! Yes, we’ve got two different scripts we’re working on, and we’re hoping to have them both out before the demise of 2008. Keep checking in; we’ll be posting concept and preview art soon!
